New construction of a passenger terminal building
The building is a three-storey passenger terminal building. The straight-line rectangular complex comprises, in level 1: the main entrance hall with service area and check-in counters.
Level 2 is reached via stairs and escalators, and accommodates waiting areas as well as the arrival area. In level 3 there is a restaurant towards the apron.
The construction of the building comprises a roof supporting structure with U-shaped steel tube framing on which is mounted the 2-shell roof made of trapezoidal metal sheets with thermal insulation and roof lights.
The underface of the ceiling is a grid of soundabsorbing panels. Supports for the roof supporting structure are reinforced concrete columns. The aluminium-glass façade measuring approx. 13 m in height is mounted on rectangular steel pipes (strapping).
