Integrated Conceptual Study and Consultancy for the BVW#7 Gas Compressor Station
To increase the transmission capacity of the existing Yadana Gas Pipeline System, the BVW#7 Compressor Station is planned as an essential expansion facility along the 42‑inch, 238‑kilometre pipeline, which includes 12 block valve stations as well as metering and pigging facilities.
The new compressor station comprises inlet filter separators, a fuel gas system, gas coolers, station piping, utility systems, buildings and shelters. It is equipped with the full range of instrumentation and control systems required for local operation, with provisions for future remote‑control capability.
Dorsch initially carried out a conceptual study to define the operational and technical baseline of the overall Yadana pipeline system. Based on this study, Dorsch was subsequently awarded the consultancy services contract for the development of the BVW#7 Compressor Station, including technical definition and design support for its implementation.
