Marienstift Specialist Hospital
DORSCH CONSULT was retained by a private hospital company in the Erz Mountains to oversee the complex conversion of the existing Marienstift hospital into a specialist hospital for oncological diseases with 106 beds. The old building stock of the main block was to remain largely intact, the ancillary block replaced by a new building and connected with the main block by an intermediate building.
The completed hospital comprises the following functions (in accordance with DIN 13080):
