New Production Hall Smar Tex
The first of three building phases for production of adsorptive materials was planned and implemented for the firm Smar Tex GmbH, Premnitz, on an approximately 28.000 m² site.
It has a floor area of approx. 3.900 m² and is divided into two functional areas:
- production area of 30 x 45 m
- storage and logistic area of 82,50 x 30 m.
The hall construction is planned as filigrane steel construction with framework trusses and articulated steel columns. The production area accommodates a peripheral three-storey building housing the entrance, offices, archive, laboratory and test rooms, workshop and staff facilities.
The hall facade consists of steel sandwich elements with large-area glazing. The perforated facade of the peripheral 3-storey building was constructed of concrete bricks.
A glass light band as gable transom light runs in the ridge center of the hall, in the production and storage as well as the logistic area housing the required SHE-systems.
