Rural Airfield Development
Three major airfields (Qacha's Nek, Semonkong, Seshote) had to be improved to the standard of utility airfields in accordance with FAA requirements regarding runway, taxiway, apron, terminal building, tower, equipment, power and water supply, sewage disposal, etc.
At five other airfields the pavement, drainage and safety conditions had to be improved.
