The Regional Railway Station at Frankfurt Airport is the busiest regional railway station in Germany. It provides the connection between Frankfurt Airport and the highly populated centers of the Rhine-Main area.

The project goal is to upgrade the fire protection of the underground regional railway station built in the sixties. This includes building rehabilitation, fire protection separation of underground levels and provision of a full-area fire gas exhaust on the platforms.

This measure will be performed in phases as per  the Client‘s instructions, while the Regional Railway is maintained in full operation during the entire construction measure.
