New parallel runway as an extension to the existing runway system at Vienna International Airport at Schwechat, comprising:

  • Approx. 3,700 m parallel runway and associated taxiways
  • Two approach / perimeter taxiways of up to approx. 2,600 m in length
  • Drainage facilities and pipe to the Danube river

  • Two de-icing units with a central utility station
